Drawing inspiration from his mother’s work ethic as a musician, Jose has applied the same discipline to his own career. A luxury home specialist and entrepreneur, he founded Jose Cardenas LLC, a company focused on the acquisition, development, renovation and design and resale of high-end single-family residential properties. Jose has been recognized locally and nationally for his outstanding renovation work and design skills and is a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. Armed with a passion for all things real estate, he consistently delivers an exceptional and elevated experience while ensuring his customers envision the true potential of any home.

Earning numerous accolades, Jose is the proud recipient of the 2019 Florida Main Street Secretary of State Honor Award for top economic vitality project and has been inducted into Marquis Who’s Who, a publication that highlights individuals based on noteworthy accomplishments. As a dedicated member of the community, he has volunteered as a chairman of the design committee for the New Port Richey Main Street organization from 2015 through 2017 and the Leadership Pasco Alumni class of 2017. Jose is also a member of the Rotary Club of Trinity and was a chairman for Citizens Advisory Committee for transportation to Pasco County.

He received a Bachelor of Science in international marketing with an emphasis in design from Madero Methodist University in Puebla, Mexico. His past experience includes work as an arts integration manager, social studies coordinator and bilingual educator at the Houston Independent School District. Jose was also trained by the Houston Museum of Fine Arts Learning Through Art program and was a performer of folkloric traditional dances for 20 years.

A resident of the Avila Golf and Country Club and an avid world traveler, Jose enjoys karaoke, collecting art, running 5Ks and is a self-proclaimed dog lover.

The inspiration

Inspired by his mother’s work ethic as a musician, Mr. Cardenas has applied the same discipline and art inspiration to his own career in Real Estate. His home renovator/designer/investor background helps him understand the client's needs first hand. As a Luxury Home Specialist with Premier Sotheby's International Realty and member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, he is responsible for assisting customers with the buying and selling experience of their homes, qualifying year after year as a Real Estate million dollar producer.

Mr. Cardenas has been most proud to receive positive feedback from several prominent figures in his field. Mr. Cardenas has completed renovation projects for some of the most recognized families in Tampa Bay area especially in the Avila community.  Additionally he has been approached at least three times by a national TV home design network to showcase his Real Estate work combined with renovation and design skills.

As a dedicated member of his community, He volunteered as the Chairman of the Design Committee for the city of New Port Richey Main Street Organization from 2015-2017, Leadership Pasco Alumni class 2017, Member of Rotary club of Trinity and Chairman for Citizens Advisory Committee for transportation to Pasco County until January of 2020. For his professional accomplishments, Mr. Cardenas received the 2019 Florida Main Street Secretary of State Honor Award.

Mr. Cardenas earned a Bachelor of Science in International Marketing with an emphasis in design from Madero Methodist University in Puebla, Mexico. One of his most rewarding volunteering opportunities was when he served as a full-time missionary for 2 years for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Here is where my design and renovation background kicks in.  We go from the front to the backyard, then room by room to build the story as to how the new buyer would like to enjoy the new home, the purpose of living spaces, better ways to keep a neat and organized home, and what they would like to feel when entering a room.  Every detail is planned. The home is our sanctuary and should be treated as such. But it’s more than just aesthetics. Because of my expertise in pricing with the proper market analysis, negotiating skills, marketing, renovation and design background, I understand how to add value so you can maximize on your investment and offer an elevated experience."

Jose Cardenas was the Arts Integration Manager and Social Studies coordinator for his campus at the Houston Independent School district where he worked as a bilingual educator for 7 years.  Earned his Bachelor of Science in International Marketing from Madero University a Methodist college in Puebla Mexico. He was trained by the Houston Museum of Fine Arts to teach the program “Learning through Art”. Jose has been Inspired to promote art among the community by lectures he constantly attends and art galleries he visited around the world such as the Peggy Guggenheim collection in Venice Italy, Florence, New York, Chicago, Mexico City, the Louvre museum in Paris, London, Bali, Hong Kong, St. Petersburg Russia, Istanbul, Tokyo and many others.

The arts have been a part of his personal and professional development; an artist of the performing arts himself for over 20 years as a dancer of traditional Mexican folklore, growing up in a family of musicians. He was part of the oil painting class at the LDS boarding high school he attended. Jose defines himself as an art collector of life stories, dreams, inspiration and daily reminders hanging from his walls. Mr. Cardenas attributes his professional success to the influence of art in the day to day running of his business. His Hobbies are running 5K events, traditional folklore dance, visit art galleries, design and renovation, piano and Karaoke.
